Maine Natives Release Children’s Book
Kay Jackson formerly of Mexico, partnered with Elizabeth M. Scott, “Scottie”, a Brunswick native and now resides Texas, to publish “Adventures of Mama Scottie and the Kids”. This is the first book in a series of juvenile fiction adventures, released by iUniverse Publishing Company.
Ms. Jackson is the designer of “MY ROOTS ARE IN MAINE!”ã ä logo products, and a graduate of the University of Maine@ Farmington. “Adventures of Mama Scottie and the Kids” is the first book illustrated by Ms. Jackson.
“Scottie” is the former postmaster in Dryden and East Wilton, Maine. Mrs. Scott is a graduate of Florida Baptist College. Upon retiring, she resumed her passion of writing. She is an accomplished, certified professional clown, named KASO.
Adventures with Mama Scottie and the Kids is a delightful story about the adventures of toy animals who travel from Texas to Maine. Scott and Jackson are currently involved in their second book of adventures, due out in the spring.
